1098T Education Tax Credit Form:

All 1098T's will be mailed out using the last known address on or before January 31, 2025. If you have moved and do not receive your 1098T, or if you need a 1098T from a past tax year, you may request a Wage & Income Transcript directly from the IRS's website. This will contain the information needed for you to file your personal tax return. You can access information about your educational expenses and the 1098-T through a Wage and Income Transcript from the IRS. This transcript typically includes the details from forms like the 1098-T that have been filed with the IRS by your school.

To obtain a Wage and Income Transcript:

  1. Go to the IRS website: IRS Get Transcript. https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript
  2. Sign in to your IRS account (or create one if you don’t have it).
  3. Select “Wage and Income Transcript” and choose the year you need.
  4. Download or print the transcript directly.

Notes:

  • If you're requesting a transcript for a current year, you may need to wait until all income data (like W-2s or 1099s) has been reported to the IRS.
