We Are an Accredited Massage Therapist School

Accreditation is a verification of quality. Becoming an accredited massage school is a voluntary process that involves periodic rigorous examination by a recognized, independent agency. Stringent procedures are used to scrutinize administration, course content, faculty, and teaching methods to ensure compliance with established standards. The accrediting agencies attest to the fact that the programs are sound, the faculty is highly qualified, the administration is responsible and ethical, that the students report having a valuable experience, and that completing and placement rates meet high standards.

Named a School of Distinction by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC), Atlanta School of Massage has been an international leader in massage therapy education for 30 years. As the leading massage therapist school in Georgia, we earned the honor of being the first authorized by the US Department of Education to offer Title IV funding. We were the first massage therapist school in Georgia to receive accreditation by the ACCSC. We are still privately owned and operated and have maintained a caring family atmosphere. We are dedicated to the advancement of the field of Massage Therapy as demonstrated by our research with the Neurology Department at Emory University on the beneficial effects of Neuromuscular Therapy on patients with Parkinson’s disease.

Atlanta School of Massage has been accredited by ACCSC since 1988. Atlanta School of Massage is also certified by the State of Georgia’s Nonpublic Postsecondary Education Commission (NPEC).
