Once you’ve made the decision to attend Atlanta School of Massage your next step is determining which financial plan will be used to cover tuition. Financial Aid is available for those who apply and qualify.

A Wide Variety of Plans. All the Support You’ll Need to Become a Massage Therapist.

The Atlanta School of Massage, the first massage therapy school in Georgia, is nationally accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) and offers a wide variety of options to assist you.

We participate in the Federal Title IV Program which includes:

  • Pell Grants
  • SEOG Grants
  • Subsidized Stafford Direct Loans
  • Unsubsidized Stafford Direct Loans
  • Federal Parent PLUS Direct Loans

Atlanta School of Massage also offers a variety of flexible payment options for those who qualify. Options include, but are not limited to credit unions, personal banks, and 401K funds.

We know how important it is for you to be able to make a thoughtful, well-informed decision regarding your financial plan while you are in school, which is why, during this process, we also discuss loan repayment, if applicable.

 

Financial Aid for Veterans

The Atlanta School of Massage is able to accept the following VA education benefits for qualifying veterans, spouses, and/or dependents:

    • Post 9/11 GI Bill® (ch.33)
    • Montgomery GI Bill®- MGBI-AD (ch.30)
    • Montgomery GI Bill® MGBI-SR (ch.1606 & 1607)
    • GI Bill® is a registered trademark of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). More information about education benefits offered by VA is available at the official U.S. government Web site at https://www.benefits.va.gov/gibill.
  • Dependent Education Survivors Benefits- DEA (ch.35)
  • Vocational Rehabilitation (ch.31)

Documents Needed:

  • Students must provide a DD-214 (if applicable)
  • Students looking to utilize VA Education Benefits are required to provide official transcripts from all previously attended schools where they used their VA Benefits for evaluation by us (if applicable)
  • Students must apply for these benefits prior to enrollment by visiting: http://www.benefits.va.gov/gibill/apply.asp

Once the application is processed you will receive a Certificate of Eligibility letter within two to six weeks and will need to provide a copy to the Financial Aid Office.

Four Easy Steps to Financial Aid at Atlanta School of Massage

  1. Fill out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) using your most current tax form (.e. 1040, 1040a, 1040EZ), completing student and parent information, if required, at studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid. Enter our Federal School Code 017369.
    If you were not required to file taxes but did earn wages, use the information located on the W-2 forms you received from your employer.
  2. It takes about 1 to 3 business days for you to receive a Student Aid Report (SAR). Review it for any needed corrections. The SAR is for your records.
  3. Schedule a time to tour the school and discuss your Financial Plan. You are not considered to have fulfilled enrollment requirements until your application fee is paid and proof of graduation form is received. If there is any additional information required, you will be advised at your appointment.
  4. If you are scheduled to receive student loans, complete Entrance Loan Counseling at www.studentloans.gov before your scheduled class start.

Additionally, students will need to complete Entrance Counseling and a Master Promissory Note (MPN).

As a reminder students have 2 FAFSAs to complete the 2021/2022 and 2022/2023 FAFSA.

The Net Price Calculator is a tool used to get a meaningful estimate of total costs, which include living expenses such as rent, gas, and food, based on your particular financial circumstances and anticipated aid.

After your scheduled tour with our Admissions Department, you will sit down with our Financial Aid Administrator who will be able to provide a more precise calculation of costs, such as the tuition and fees associated with your specific program of choice, as these amounts do vary.
