Due to COVID-19 and all the unknowns, the Atlanta School of Massage will be closed until further notice out of an abundance of caution for health & safety for our students, clients, and staff. We will be monitoring the outbreak 24/7, so we can update as needed.
- At this time, due to the state of the country and all the unknowns, students will NOT return to school until further notice! We will continue with digital learning in the meantime as much as we can without altering the quality of your education.
- Students should not return to class; we will continue with digital learning via live or recorded lecture and written make up work. If you are currently in the clinic internship part of your program, you will not be receiving much if any digital work to complete during this time.
- Once we are cleared to return to regular daily activity by the state, we can then start to determine when we will have regularly scheduled classes in the building and when you will be completing the program.
- To continue your attendance and active enrollment, you will be required to complete the work and test you have been assigned along with participation in any life or recorded lectures or demos. Per the student survey that was sent, this should please at least 89% of you.
Please check your student emails and Google classroom regularly to stay connected during this time.
VERY IMPORTANT PLEASE READ
If you are a student who has contracted the virus or is caring for a family member who has the illness, do not have wifi access, computer or mobile device and cannot complete the online hours you will need to contact me directly as soon as possible so we can discuss your options.
If you choose not to participate in digital learning this week and instead take a “Spring Break” because you already have previous plans, we completely understand and do not want anyone to think they have to cancel because of the required online work.
Please contact Charlene Ramos and your instructor as soon as possible so that we can extend your assignment due dates. Please be safe and follow the instructions of the Governor so we can move past this as soon as possible.
June 8th Graduation has been canceled. Once the school reopens, we will announce a date when graduates can pick up their packets or opt to participate in future graduation.
Tuition payments should be made as expected. We do understand that the national crisis may impact your ability to make your regularly scheduled payments. If you are unable to make your scheduled payments, you should be communicating directly with Accounting, email@example.com
, with details of your specific situation so further determinations can be made.
SensAbility student clinic will be closed through June 1st; we will update once we have schedules available to book. You can order products over the phone (770)-677-0300 with SensAbility for pick up or shipped to your home.
